Q About Us

Cynthia Jennings is a Civil rights, Labor Rights and Employment rights attorney.

This includes addressing the health effects suffered by largely Black and Latino children and seniors, from asthma, and other environmental health issues currently facing Hartford residents because of environmental justice civil rights violations, including the siting of numerous, multiple environmentally risky facilities within our city, including the North Meadows Landfill; the Sewage Treatment Plant; the Trash to Energy Incinerator; the Recycling Facility and the siting of jet engines that are fired up to make up the deficit when there is not enough trash to be burned to generate sufficient electricity to send to the electric grid.

Attorney Jennings has addressed issues related to employment discrimination facing Hartford residents, as well as issues of unjust taxation of Hartford residents, and the exclusion of so many Hartford residents from job opportunities, educational and economic development opportunities.

This exclusion of Hartford residents from employment educational opportunities, and exposure to excessive body burdens of toxic chemicals and environmental poisons, has resulted in severe educational, employment, economic, and health disparities in our city, as well as an increase in violence.
